Default New Cities being raided within five days

Good Evening all,
I am in the new beta, #3, and I noticed something odd.
I sent my troops to raid a rebel, you know, for resources, but my "battle report" shows I attacked a brand new city. I understand this should not be possible with the "5 day protection", but I am pretty sure it did. (Loyalty was under 100%)
It was not planned and unfortunately, the player, badger, may not have come back to play since.
I am hoping you may be able to correct this, but I understand a fix might not be possible. Also I am sorry I did not list my cords, but if you look me up in the game, badger is the name of the city to the right and is also the player's name.
The name of my city is Berlin, though I understand there may be more cities with that name.
Thanks for everything, really like the game.

Most likely your attack on the rebel happened at the same exact moment the new player landed there. It's rare, but it has been known to happen. More often we see where someone accidentally hits a rebel that someone *just* took as a second (or third, fourth, fifth, etc.) city. It's not a bug, just rotten luck on the timing.

Wink

i think its good luck on the timing it gives them lots of extra bp and puts them on top of the defense ranks.

A brand new player won't see it that way, though. They'll just see it as a bigger player jumping on them immediately. So, rotten luck on the timing. For him AND for DAW as a whole.

Thanks for the reply Kalypso, I know you are busy and I understand.
